The 3nd edition of the published in 2019 provides information on changes and variations in the ocean over the past decades, with a focus on changes in the marine environment during the year 2017. It is written by nearly 100 scientific experts from more than 30 institutions and draws from the marine monitoring capabilities of the Copernicus Marine Service.
